Terms and Conditions

• The reservation is only confirmed once the deposit (50% of the rent) has been paid into the KoppenHerberg account, within 7 days from booking. After payment of the deposit, you will receive your final booking confirmation.
• The warranty (€750), together with the outstanding 50% of the rent, have to be received in the KoppenHerberg account at the latest 4 weeks before your arrival.
• A few days before your departure you will receive an email and a useful application with all practical info for a pleasant stay.
• In the event of last-minute bookings (less than 4 weeks beforehand), you will be contacted and asked to pay the deposit, warranty and balance.

Cancellation

• In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to rent out the reserved KoppenHerberg to another tenant without further notifications, without prejudice to our right to a cancellation fees.
• The tenants can cancel the reservation at any point before the start of their stay provided that the cancellation fee that will be due is paid.
• All cancellations have to be notified by telephone and subsequently be confirmed in writing.
• Cancellation fees are as follows:
  • Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the planned arrival date: 50% of the total rent
  • Cancellation between 4 to 2 weeks before the planned arrival date: 75% of the total rent
  • Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the planned arrival date: the full rent.

Warranty

• The warranty (€750), together with the outstanding 50% of the rent, have to be received in the KoppenHerberg account at the latest 4 weeks before your arrival.
• After check-out, the KoppenHerberg will be inspected for any damage, loss, or excessive dirtiness.
• After this check, the full warranty will be refunded to the account of the tenant within 7 days after checkout.
• In case of damage, loss, or failure to clean up according to the agreed terms, the costs for repairs, replacement, or additional cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit.
• If the damage, loss, or excessive dirtiness exceeds the value of the security deposit, a quote will be prepared by the insurance company and presented to the tenant for further payment of the damages.

Agreements

• Smoking in the house is prohibited
• It is not allowed to organise parties in the KoppenHerberg
• Out of respect for the neighbors and the quiet region, we ask that you mute the noise (music, shouting, etc.) between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
• No pets allowed
• Please return any (moved) furniture, (kitchen) supplies, and facilities to their original location after use.
• In the KoppenHerberg we have been inspired by a few Norwegian principles:
  • Respect for nature and each other
  • Honesty and trust
  • Shoes off when entering the house (and certainly in the bedrooms and the upper floor). There is a large shoe rack on the covered terrace.
  • Leave the holiday home in the same condition as you found it at check-in.
